This was a camping adventure. We slept in tents under a palapa by the ocean. There was plenty of swimming, boating, kayaking, fishing, snorkeling, plus an ocean swimming clinic with one of the best open water Coaches, Penny Lee Dean.

Santa Barbara Channel Relay Swim

Each year since 2004 Oceanducks and now the Santa Barbara Channel Swimming Association organizes a relay swim from Santa Cruz Island to Santa Barbara. Dozens of swimmers, kayakers, and volunteers raise money to benefit local ocean caring non-profits. For more information, see the Santa Barbara Channel Relay Swim.
