Ocean Swim Clinics
Oceanducks is now offering clinics in open-water swimming for locals and visitors. Clinics are taught by experienced marathon swimmers with extensive experience in local waters.
3 day Clinic - Santa Claus Lane Beach
$300 per person or $500 for a couple
Must have an even number of people registered
April 9-12; May 21-24; June 11-14, 2009
Arrive Thursday night. Program starts Friday morning. Friday: Swim / run barefoot in the sand in the am and pm. Lunch at the Beach Grill at Padaro. Saturday: Swim/ kayak in the am and pm. Practice feeding and being fed. Lunch at the Beach Grill at Padaro. Sunday: Swim in the morning at Butterfly Beach and hike in the afternoon. Order picnic lunch. Leave by about 3pm. Total swim 10 miles, run 6 miles, hike 6 miles (approximately) |
